In Low back Pain
The burden of low back pain disability has increased steadily over the last few decades in western countries (...). Overall, progression to a chronic pattern of pain is more closely dependent on demographic, psychosocial and occupational factors than on the medical characteristics of the spinal condition itself (...). (Valat et al., 1997) Did you know that your low back pain is likely to be anchored in the long term if you are struggling with a complex situation in your private life? You are very much encouraged to seek help in order to put an end at this vicious circle. Your physiotherapist is happy to provide a few tips, happy to provide some progressive pain relief, and will be by your side along the way. Get in touch today.

In Low back Pain
Your acute back pain is likely to disappear on its own whithin a few weeks. Yet it is important to remain active, as complete bed rest wouldn't necessarily have a good influence on your pain. Movement has an antalgic effect, but maybe not every kind of motion is recommended. Why not ask your physio? In the meantime, you may want to find here, a selection of fairly simple exercises, that may be beneficial. https://www.csp.org.uk/system/files/7_back_pain.pdf
